Camellia City Festival 2009

“November 2nd proclaimed as Bo Diddley Day”
in McComb, Pike County, and the State of Mississippi.

“Bo Diddley came home November 2, 2007, during the Camellia City Festival.”

This year, there will be a festive weekend which includes:

Friday, Nov. 6 Blues Marker Unveiling on historic Summit Street, Time: 11:30 to 2:00 p.m.; and a “Black Railroad Workers Seeking a Better Way of Life” and “Black Inventors in the Field of Transportation” by Dr. Hilda Casin Place: Black History Gallery, 819 Wall Street, McComb

Nov. 7 Magnolia City Wide Garage Sale

Nov. 7 - 8 TNT Southwest MS Football Bowl Tournament
